How is the inventory of Shared SKUs products handled by our system?

Please Note: Your product inventory is synced in both directions based on the connected Shopify and Square locations.

Once you complete your onboarding process and select the primary source, the inventory overwrite process will be initiated according to your configuration.



Once this process is completed and if you have Shared SKUs in Square our app will detect that and will shown you the option to either sync inventory for that products or not:



Please Note: currently our application only detects the Shared SKUs for Square product's only.

If any user has Shared SKUs, their product inventory will not be synced initially. Only when you enable "Sync Shared SKUs Inventory" then inventory start to sync between Shopify and Square for those products.

This step will ensure that your inventory is not mismatched or overwritten unknowingly, and you can configure your SKUs before proceeding further.

You can change this settings anytime you want from the "Configurations" --> " Inventory " page of our application:



Please Note: once you enable the "Sync Shared SKUs Inventory" option, it will not automatically overwrite your inventory like in the onboarding process. There must be a product update, and then only inventory will be synced to Square.
