Configurations Page - Square Integration App.
The Configuration page allows you to control how your products, inventory, and locations sync between Shopify and Square. Understanding and setting these configurations correctly ensures your store operates seamlessly.
๐บ๏ธ Location Configuration:
This section allows you to connect your Shopify and Square locations.
- Our app syncs inventory only between connected locations.
- If you have 5 locations in both Shopify and Square, but only 1 is connected, only that one location will sync inventory.
๐ How to Connect Locations
- Use the dropdown menus to select and connect matching Shopify and Square locations.
- If a location doesnโt appear, click the ๐ Refresh button to fetch the latest list from Shopify or Square.
๐ Product Configuration
Product Configuration allows you to define the direction of sync for product data like title, description, price, and images.
Choose either:
- Shopify โ Data flows from Shopify to Square
- Square โ Data flows from Square to Shopify
๐ง Sync Options Based on Primary Source
After setting your primary source, you can enable/disable syncing of:
- Product Title
- Product Description
- Product Price
- Product Images
โ Example: If Square is selected as the primary source and you update the product title in Square, it will sync to Shopify (if syncing is enabled).

๐งฎ Inventory Configuration:
๐ Shared SKU Inventory Sync
Shared SKUs = the same SKU used in multiple products across your stores.
- When enabled: If a SKU is updated in Shopify, all Square products sharing that SKU will also have their inventory updated.
- When disabled: The Shopify inventory update will not apply to multiple Square products with the same SKU.
